Formule 1 in Singapore
De Grand Prix van Singapore was in 2008 de eerste Formule 1-race die 's avonds werd verreden. Door de straten van Singapore is het 'Marina Bay Street Circuit' eens per jaar klaar gemaakt voor de Formule 1-teams en wordt het tot in de late uurtjes kunstmatig verlicht. De eerste Grand Prix van Singapore werd gewonnen door Fernando Alonso in zijn Renault-bolide.
Populaire tribunes
Populaire tribunes op het circuit van Singapore zijn tribune 'Turn 1' en 'Turn 2' in de eerste bocht. Je ziet hier de coureurs op de eerste bocht afkomen wat regelmatig inhaalacties oplevert. Tribune 'Connaught' is ook erg populair vanwege haar uitzicht op een scherpe rechter. Tribune 'Bay' is qua prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding een goed optie. Deze enorm grote tribune is de goedkoopste tribune en biedt naast het uitzicht op het circuit ook uitzicht op het water van 'Marina Bay'.
